Each Sage has its own flavor and strength so go easy on a new Sage to you until you have an idea of whether you like it or not.
Sweet Stuffing - goes well with meat, roasted veg or just as a meal on its own
Soak about 120g dried fruit in liquid for a few hours. Fry some onion with a few (start with 4 if new Sage for you) Sage leaves. Do NOT let the leaves burn - keep them moving in the pan.
In a bowl, mix the onion, Sage leaves, soaked fruits, nuts of your choice, 1 raw egg, a garlic glove,. Stuff inside your choice of veg/meat and cook as you would cook the veg/meat. OR just place inside a foil envelope and allow it to cook for about 30 minutes on 170C before checking. It should be nice and juicy!
